Art is everywhere

Art is everywhere

I think it is common knowledge that at some point we don´t notice beauty in our everyday surroundings. We feel stressed because of our obligations, become stony, blind and careless. We navigate daily on certain streets at certain times with certain thoughts in mind.

I feel that travelling abroad opens my heart, all senses are alert. I notice and process more of what I see than at home where everything seems familiar and little boring. Well you’ve cracked the sky, scrapers fill the air.
But will you keep on building higher
’til there’s no more room up there?
Will you make us laugh, will you make us cry?
Will you tell us when to live, will you tell us when to die?

I know we’ve come a long way,
We’re changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

Cat STEVENS “where do the children play? “
